New Pioneers is thrilled to announce the hiring of our newest staff member, Ami Black. Ami will be serving as our Administrative Assistant, overseeing day-to-day functioning in our office and supporting the many great endeavors of New Pioneers.

Ami is from Bardstown, and has lived in Springfield for over fifteen years. She reflects that she “fell in love with our small town and its charm, [taking in the] rich history and culture here. I knew early on that I wanted to serve my community, which has served me in so many ways.”

Ami has an Associate of Arts degree from St. Catherine College, and has extensive clerical experience, including in the banking industry.

Ami is pleased to join the New Pioneers team - and we are proud to welcome her aboard! Join us in wishing a warm welcome to Ami and thanking her for the start of her service to New Pioneers and our communities served.
