Sustainable Lands Roundtable

Sustainable Lands Roundtable

The Sustainable Lands Roundtable is a collaborative project between New Pioneers, our three neighboring motherhouses – Dominican Sisters of Peace at St. Catharine, Loretto Community, and Sisters of Charity of Nazareth – and others, including Bernheim Arboretum and Research Forest, Campbellsville University, Kentucky Office of Nature Preserves, and USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service, to support the conservation and sustainable management of the sacred motherhouse lands.

In recent years, the project has grown to include public environmental education efforts on motherhouse campuses, including Pre-K-12 field trips for local students. The Sustainable Lands Roundtable project is generously supported by the Owsley Brown II Family Foundation.

Thanks to our generous partners!
