New Pioneers had a great time at our annual Space Night program this August! Space Night is a unique program for the whole family, with opportunities to learn about our solar system and make observations of it. Space Night is also hosted during the peak of the Perseid Meteor Shower, giving attendees a chance to safely view it!

A major part of New Pioneer's mission is environmental education, which was demonstrated through our "Space Stations", video presentations, and telescope viewing for this night! We feel that environmental education is very vital to a green future, as it has been proven that those who have a close connection and understanding of nature are more likely and better equipped to make environmentally conscious decisions! New Pioneers hopes that their demonstrations of environmental education will lead to an environmentally literate future!
