New Pioneers was delighted to host TWO Solar 101 Workshops this May in collaboration with the Kentucky Solar Energy Society! These workshops yielded unique opportunities for homeowners, small businesses, places of worship, farms, and non-profit organizations to connect with and learn from a verified solar installer.

These workshops also aligned with the Solarize Boyle Program, which is currently active for individuals in Marion, Washington, and other surrounding counties. This program offers tax incentives for the solar installation process to those eligible, making solar panels more affordable and accessible in our area! Learn more about this program here.

We hope those who joined us enjoyed learning about the many benefits of solar energy and the ins and outs of the installation process. Huge thanks to our attendees, the Washington and Marion County Public Libraries, the KY Solar Energy Society, and our wonderful facilitators for making these workshops a success.
