New Pioneers’ Executive Director, Julia Gerwe, enjoyed a visit with the Loretto Community on Monday, January 22, 2024 to present about New Pioneers’ continued work and impact, centering around the question, “What is Sustainability?”.

Joined by several Loretto Sisters and community members, Julia shared the legacy that New Pioneers has had thanks to the support of the Loretto Community and introduced the organization’s new strategic plan. Many Sisters of Loretto asked engaging questions regarding updates on current programs and projections for the year ahead.

New Pioneers celebrates our relationship with the Loretto Community, and recognizes the support that this community offers us in so many ways. We are glad to extend the charism of the Loretto Community through our work, and look forward to continuing to “care for Earth” alongside this community of trailblazers!
