New Pioneers had a great time leading an outdoor exploration program at the Bardstown Community Park with our partners at the Nelson County Public Library! Students had the opportunity to become "tree detectives" by acting out a tree's life cycle, identifying local tree species, and tracing the leaves and bark of local trees. Students also learned tree ID tips and fun facts!
It is always a pleasure to advance our mission of promoting a healthy future for all through providing environmental education to the community! We are looking forward to many more outdoor exploration days in the future.
