Stream Sampler Training!

Are you interested in learning more about Kentucky’s waterways through direct experience? What about partnering with others to better understand our waterway’s restoration and protection needs? How about pursuing action to protect and improve our water quality?

You’re in the right place! New Pioneers is partnering with the Kentucky Watershed Watch and the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth to offer Stream Sampler Training for ALL. Join us Thursday, May 22nd, from 5-7 pm at the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Campus to get certified to monitor your chosen stream(s)! This training will equip you with all the tools and knowledge you need to become a Salt River Watershed Watch Volunteer.

Interested samplers must attend an in-person training AND complete online training content to become certified. Learn more about stream sampling and register here!

This is a great opportunity to explore, connect, and protect our rich waterways. We hope to see you there!
