New Pioneers is eager to partner with the Rose Dodson STEM Program once again this December! This monthly program allows students of color from Bardstown Elementary School to participate in hands-on, engaging activities that promote the use of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) skills, growing the STEM career field in the future.

This December, the STEM program will have a focus on fire science! Activities will include a visit from the Bardstown Fire Department, experiments about how a fire is created, and an interactive game about prescribed burns in nature.

This is a great opportunity for local students to enrich their after-school experience with a deeper dive into the world of STEM, helping them realize that learning can be both fun and inspiring!
