Official Rules
Participants in the Anniversary Raffle must be at least 18 years of age. More than one person may share in the raffle ticket purchase. The prize will be distributed to the name(s) as they appear on the raffle ticket stub.
The Anniversary Raffle prizes are: Gold prize: $2,000; Silver prize $1,000; Bronze prize: $500.
Raffle ticket stubs cannot be sent through the U.S. mail. If the purchaser supplies an email address, we will email the raffle ticket stub(s) number(s) and/or the purchaser can pick-up the raffle ticket stub(s) at the New Pioneers office during normal business hours. Purchasers can also pick up tickets at New Pioneers’ 20th Anniversary Celebration on November 14, 2025.
All online and mail ordered Anniversary Raffle ticket requests, with payment, must be received by the drawing date (November 14, 2025) at 12 p.m. to be eligible for the drawing. Tickets can also be purchased in person at New Pioneers’ 20th Anniversary Celebration hosted from 6-9 p.m. at the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth Motherhouse (Banner Room). Each raffle ticket is a separate and equal chance to win the prizes.
Winners need not be present at the 20th Anniversary Celebration to win. The drawing will occur at 9:00 p.m. during this celebration, in person, and will be streamed live on New Pioneers’ facebook account. Winners will be notified by telephone, mail, and/or by email.
Proceeds of the Anniversary Raffle will support education, demonstration, and advocacy for sustainability throughout central Kentucky. This includes youth/family education, sustainable collaborations, and conservation advocacy. New Pioneers (New Pioneers for a Sustainable Future, Inc.) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization registered with the Secretary of State of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. Charitable Gaming License Number is EXE0001720.
Winners are responsible for paying all applicable taxes on the winnings. At the end of the calendar year, New Pioneers will file a form W-2G with the IRS to report the value of the prize(s) won and the taxes already paid by the winner(s). A copy of the W-2G will also be mailed to the winner(s) for their records.
