New Pioneers is excited to launch an educational partnership with the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth this year through a monthly column in the Kentucky Standard entitled "Down to Earth". This series explores how we can live more lightly on the planet ... and help our human communities thrive, too!

Our first two columns have been published and are fresh off the presses! In February, Carolyn Cromer, Director of Ecological Sustainability with the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, shared the importance of planting native trees. That article can be accessed here.
