New Pioneers' Community Educator, Ivoree Sullenbarger, had the opportunity to participate in a "Day of Science Learning" hosted by the Kentucky Department of Education in January 2025!

This day of learning explored the Kentucky Academic Standards for Science and effective environmental education tools for all ages. Professional Development opportunities like this bring new perspectives, ideas, and connections for New Pioneers to further our efforts to educate, demonstrate, and advocate for sustainability.

We are so grateful for this opportunity to connect with over 50 environmental organizations and dive into science learning!
