Celebrating connections at this year’s Empty Bowl Supper

Our annual Empty Bowl Supper fundraiser was a roaring good time this February, and a unique opportunity for New Pioneers’ supporters, members, and community partners to gather in a traditional yet fresh way to honor our mission and work.

This year’s Empty Bowl Supper honored the meaningful traditions of New Pioneers’ longest standing fundraiser, including a showcase of local musicians and a smorgasbord of gorgeous donated bowls; while incorporating new, fresh elements, including the new location of Cornerstone Acres, a Split the Pot raffle, and the presentation of the “Pioneer Awards”.

To celebrate the exciting growth of the organization and event, a record number of community members attended and generously gave a record amount for the organization. Donations raised during the Empty Bowl Supper set New Pioneers up for a year of success to come.

New Pioneers shares our deepest thanks to those who helped make the event such a success, including our donors, staff, Board of Directors, and volunteers. We’re also grateful to Cornerstone Acres for hosting such a beautiful event and supporting our organization throughout the process. We also owe thanks to those who donated Door Prizes for attendees, including The Craft Box, Heaven Hill Distillery, Kentucky Classic Arts, Making Good Scentz, and Michter’s Distillery. We look forward to continuing to promote sustainability in our communities for many years to come!

Thanks to our generous partners!
