New Pioneers had the pleasure of welcoming four new members to our Board of Directors at our Board Orientation this January! Thank you to Gary Bishop, Jamie Collins, Hortensia Mayer, and Isaac Sutton for this exciting new commitment. We are so grateful to each of you!

During this orientation, current Board Members, Michael Bickett (President), Johnnie Baum (Treasurer), and Elliot Newland, as well as our staff, joined in to familiarize new members with our organization! Our agenda included getting to know each other, reviewing the history of New Pioneers, sharing expectations, touring our office, and more.

We are so excited to enter 2026 with thirteen members on our Board of Directors, including our four new friends! Thank you to each of these wonderful members, as well as the Springfield Opera House, for allowing us to host orientation in their space.
