New Pioneers was delighted to attend the Loretto Motherhouse Farm Back to School Ag. Bash again this August, a fantastic way to kick off the new school year for the whole family!

This fun-filled day featured a self-serve farmers' market, petting zoo, farm equipment displays, yummy food, and a variety of agriculture-themed activities. At the New Pioneers' booth, adults got to learn more about upcoming events, educate themselves on native plant species, and take home a free packet of native seeds. Kids got to enjoy a fun bug-matching game and go on an "insect safari" on the farm!

These unique activities help connect our community with Kentucky's biodiverse ecosystems, planting the seed for new environmental stewards!
