It's simple! Time spent outdoors = happier and healthier people (and planet)! You're bound to feel the mental\, physical\, and social benefits of nature through this unique challenge\, and we hope your whole crew will join in on the fun. \nHow do I participate? It's easy! Simply track your hours spent outside from June 1st to September 1st\, 2026\, and submit them to our Response Form. You will have access to this form all summer and may make multiple submissions\, so feel free to submit your hours daily\, weekly\, monthly\, or at the end of the challenge! All submissions are due by the end of the day on Tuesday\, September 1st\, 2026.  \n \nPrizes: New Pioneers is eager to announce the addition of prizes to the 1\,000 Hours Outside Challenge this year! PLUS\, you can also win prizes based on how much time you spend in the great outdoors this season. Check out these tiered prizes below! \n \nPlease note: Participants may receive only 1 prize per submission of time spent in nature. Families are welcome to combine their hours to aim for a higher total\, but are only subject to one prize for this combined submission. All prizes will be distributed after your final submission has been received\, or by 9/5/2026.  \nHour Tracking Coloring Sheets: Tracking your hours has never been easier (and as fun) with the printable coloring sheets below!
