DESCRIPTION:New Pioneers is eager to bring back "Moving Forward Forums"\, a pre-COVID program that was loved and enjoyed by many! Moving Forward Forums provide a unique opportunity for attendees to hear local experts share their knowledge of various ecological and environmental topics\, as well as ask questions about the topics. In the past\, these forums have focused on transitioning to renewable energy\, protecting water resources\, roles in the community\, and so much more! Moving Forward Forums greatly support New Pioneers' mission to support a healthy future for all by providing education and demonstration of sustainable living. \nThe official revival of Moving Forward Forums is set for Tuesday\, September 24th from 6-7:30 PM at the Springfield Opera House! We hope you'll join us to hear about "Native Plants and Ecosystems"\, discussing Kentucky's native plants and the importance of growing them. Local experts\, Carolyn Cromer\, Director of Ecological Sustainability for the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth\, and Nachie Braga of Geomancer Permaculture will be our guest speakers for this special night! \nLearn more about this event and RSVP here.
