SUMMARY:Art in Nature: Developing a Winter Sketchbook
DESCRIPTION:Adults are invited to join New Pioneers on Tuesday\, January 30 from 6-7 p.m. for "Art in Nature: Developing a Winter Sketchbook" at the Marion County Public Library\, as part of our 2023 Winter Nature Series! \nAll adults 18+ are invited to attend this creative program\, where we'll bring environmental education and creative exploration to YOU in partnership with the Marion County Public Library. \nDuring this program led by local artist Lana Gits\, participants will learn how to construct a sustainable and recycled sketchbook and connect with nature through art. By using natural items as our muse\, we'll learn the basics of sketching and how to develop an "eye" for depicting nature. Beginners are WELCOMED and encouraged to attend this event.
