DESCRIPTION:New Pioneers invites our members\, friends\, donors\, and community to attend our annual Empty Bowl Supper on Friday\, March 21 from 6-8 p.m.* at Cornerstone Acres in Springfield\, Kentucky! This is our sole fundraising event of the year\, and we'll celebrate in style with locally handcrafted bowls and a diverse spread of home prepared soups\, breads\, and desserts. \n* Note that this date is a RESCHEDULE from our original date of Fri\, Feb 21. We rescheduled due to winter weather and bitter cold\, and we can't wait to celebrate with everyone safely and under fairer (and warmer!) skies! \nRegister for the 2025 Empty Bowl Supper today! \nThis year's Empty Bowl Supper will celebrate New Pioneers' 20th anniversary and legacy of promoting sustainability throughout Central Kentucky. We'll bring together some recurring features of this event (including bowls\, soups\, and entertainment) with a sprinkling of new celebrations (including our second annual "Pioneer Awards" ceremony and a Silent Auction). You won't want to miss it! \nDonations are encouraged at the time of reservation or upon entry\, with a recommendation of $30 per attendee. Recommended dress is casual to elevated casual. \nPIONEER AWARDS \nDo you know someone\, including an organization/business\, treading lightly on this Earth and promoting ecological sustainability? We encourage you to submit a nomination for the Pioneer Awards. We'll be excited to recognize award winners in four categories at our Empty Bowl Supper\, and you're invited to help us find our shining stars!
