Earth Day Assemblies!

New Pioneers had a fabulous time celebrating Earth Day with students at Bardstown Elementary and Primary schools this April through school assemblies! These assemblies gave students a fun-filled opportunity to learn about the importance of environmental sustainability, engage in interactive activities, and prepare for the unveiling of recycling trailers at each Bardstown Independent School.

First graders got to explore the intriguing tale of "Michael Recycle meets Litterbug Doug," and act out the "5 R's of Sustainability" through enthralling sing-alongs and dance moves. While third and fourth-grade students took a "dive" into the story of "The Dumpster Diver" and a recycling relay race.

New Pioneers is beyond grateful for this opportunity to educate our younger generations on the importance of refusing, reducing, reusing, recycling, and rotting waste! We give many "sustainable wishes" to the Bardstown Independent Schools as they start their school-wide recycling initiatives this year!
